a few months ago I was coming back from dropping some stuff off at our now new house when a older riced out accord pulls up beside me..I hear him double clutch it and down shift..I'm thinking...cool...I'm gonna smoke him...we are going about 50-55 so I smash the go pedal..he nails it and starts pulling on me! we ran up to about 75 and I backed out of it...he didn't pull on me hard...but bad enough I couldn't catch him...I wanted to catch him at a red light and asked him if he wanted to get his taillights handed to him by a real car..and I would give him his choice of the 2 depending on how bad he wanted to get beat. Now when the wife makes fun of my Lincoln all I tell her is....well, at least it can whip a Honda....and she shuts up. oh yeah...the wife's car is a '03 Taurus...which I've now officially dubbed...the Tourtise...cuz it's sloooow

that's funny as h e l l, kinda...It pains me to think that some guys that own Mustangs are pricks young punks with a douchebag attitude...which in turn makes me look bad. I don't like to be stereotyped..

I go by the rule...if you're cool with me...I'm cool with you...I don't care what the h e l l you drive..I can respect a fast import as I can a Chevy..and I'm not a chevy guy...don't disrespect my ride and I won't disrespect yours...that's how I roll...common courtesy. But I can tell you now...the mods that you have on your ride...I wouldn't advise racing either of my cars...the Prelude I raced with my Lincoln wasn't stock and I smoked him...my Mustang is faster than my Lincoln..I think the Mark would get it off the line because it hooks up better and has better gears..but I've proved it many times that you can race an auto vs. a stick and the auto car having a reasonable HP advantage and getting smoked by the car with a stick trans...this is just from my experience.
