How are those problems? The ninja 250r is easily amongst the best beginner bikes on the planet, and seeing as it would be my first bike I'm pretty sure that fits my bill. Although if you have another idea, I'm all ears.

Don't listen to him, he's a hater. I had an 04 Ninja 250R. It was a great beginner bike and I recommend it to anyone who's learning. You can get an exhaust for it that'll make it a little better sound(and looking). I'd also look into a rear fender delete. Those always look nice and I think you can get one on the new Ninja 250 bodystyle.

Never seen that ^, but I think I'd throw up if I did. I hate neon lights in general unless it's informing me whether or not a restaurant or other place of business is open or not. I've seen it on cruiser bikes and hated it.

I like neons, and actually the ones here don't have like underglow, but have a smaller bulb that shines through the engine bay, it looks nice......

Not really upset by that. They weigh what? 400lbs max dry weight. My cars range from 2700lbs-4200lbs. Yeah, I'm pretty understanding of the fact that they'll be faster.
