I was driving along at the speed limit (55) with my underglow on when a black mustang GT (2002ish model) comes up beside me and does a  ricer/race pass on me, so I speed up slightly and pass him back.  We then line up side by side and he of course honks 3 times, I drop it into 3rd and floor it and I can't believe it, we're neck and neck! Wait, better than that, I shift to 4th and I'm SLOWLY, barely noticeably slowly PASSING him! But then I hit my gov at 108 and he straight up passes me.....

Can a Saturn really do that well against a StangGT???

Are you kidding me?  Pfft.  Of course they can.  The 2.7L is so much of a weight reduction.  You could smoke a Mustang.  GT's are just heavy with all the motor weight in the extra cylinders.

Could also be a V6 Model made to look like a GT. I've seen that on numerous occasions.

I have seen those but I've raced a "NOS" (sticker only) mustang V6 before, this one seemed faster
