okay so i have a 12" kenwood excelon and a 12" rockford fosgate p1 i also have a kenwood excellon 900w amp and an eclipse head unit and pioneer 4 1/2" speakers all around that are 3 way
they sound great but i want more what do yall think i should do for more sound i am thinking about buying my friends 12" power acoustic subs and then getting a 2000w amp what do yall think

it's all about brand/model. My good friend used to be big into audio and do DB competitions and shiz. He'd always only do 10's, but would blow everyone away, because he'd spend the extra money and get the better subs.

good point i had 10's at one point but then went 12's and i wont go back my rockford p1 is a real cheap sub that is a good brand but is the lowest model and it still does well and im happy with it i just like the different range of the 12. the 10s hit very fasst and acurate but the 12 hits hard, long, and hit the lows very veyr well which is the why i like it lol plus i mostly listen to rap

When I was in high school I was really into heavy metal. Now those groups are oldies but goodies...I like all rock,metal,punk..Even the kind that sounds like you are playing a 33 record on 45. And sometime rap is okay, like Nelly, song like rap, but not the talking ones because they are a little offensive for me to listen to.

The ones that have offensive words in it. Cruel and unusual themes. discrimitory remarks and so on. I am not saying thay are bad, just some people can't listen to it. music is all in the matter of what a person likes. someone may like it one way and another won't. Doesn't make it wrong. the ttitle does say, what is your opinion. Everyone has a different opinion.
